PENNZOIL Marine High Viscosity Lower Unit 80W-90 GL 5 is a transmission oil which contains components preventing flow of big amount of dirty water. It comprises the additives protecting toothed gears and bearings from corrosion. Special extreme pressure additives ensure excellent protection of all bearings in marine severe conditions. PENNZOIL Marine High Viscosity Lower Unit 80W-90 GL 5 is an oil made of synthetic base stocks which have improved formulas against oxidation and low-temperature properties. PENNZOIL Marine High Viscosity Lower Unit 80W-90 GL 5 meets the requirements for the highest speed and power, is made for high-power ship engines, ensures maximum lubrication and protection in a wide temperature range. It comprises extreme pressure additives which protect from impact loads and wear. Anti-foaming additives protect from aeration which can lead to the damage of the oil film and cause wear due to insufficient lubrication. Special corrosion inhibitors are included in PENNZOIL Marine High Viscosity Lower Unit 80W-90 GL 5 for protection from corrosion which can appear due to water condensation. Oxidation inhibitors are used to increase excellent resistance to oxidation of this synthetic oil. The oil also meets API GL-5 requirements. Application. PENNZOIL Marine High Viscosity Lower Unit 80W-90 GL 5 can be used when SAE 80W-90 API GL-5 oils are required. It is also recommended when SAE 90, API GL-5 SAE 80W-90 transmission oils are required.
