These are premium motor oils for modern engines of passenger cars and commercial vehicles. They are made of base oils with synthetic properties and a densifier resistant to high loads; they also comprise detergent, dispersive, anti-wear, anti-foaming, anti-oxidant additives and corrosion inhibitors. Excellent oxidation stability at a high temperature protects from increased viscosity and sludge formation in the engine crankcase. Havoline® Motor Oils with Deposit Shield® oil series is formulated with 10W-40 viscosity. APPLICATION. Havoline motor oils can be used in four-stroke gasoline engines installed on passenger cars, light trucks, motorboats, motorcycles and other mobile or stationary machinery. They are perfectly compatible with the engines with higher revs installed on passenger cars and light trucks. All viscosity grades of this oil line are compatible with new and used engines, with or without a turbocharger. Besides, these oils are compatible with the engines of passenger cars and light trucks operating on the natural gas if it complies with the manufacturer’s recommendations for lubrication of such engines. SAE 10W-40 viscosity grade is still widely used in warm countries, even though it is not recommended by many manufacturers for use in the latest types of North-American autos. The oil of this viscosity is often recommended for old car types which regularly work at high temperatures.
