SPECIFIC 2312 0W-30 ENERGY-SAVING OIL FOR GASOLINE AND DIESEL ENGINES OF PSA PEUGEOT CITROEN, INCLUDING BlueHDi EQUIPPED WITH SCR AND/OR DPF. 100% SYNTHETIC. Application. High-tech 100% synthetic energy-saving motor oil. It is specially developed for the latest generation of BlueHDi diesel engines equipped with SCR installed in PSA (Peugeot and Citroen) autos meeting Euro IV and Euro VI requirements and requiring the oils by PSA B71 2312 standard. It is used in all Peugeot and Citroen gasoline and some diesel engines equipped with DPF requiring the motor oils meeting PSA B71 2312 standard. PSA ( Peugeot and Citroen) conglomerate has developed B71 2312 standard enabling the motor oil to perform in the most difficult temperature conditions of modern engines equipped with exhaust gas after-treatment systems. B71 2312 standard is applied to all Peugeot and Citroen autos equipped with BlueHDi diesel engines with SCR system enabling to neutralize NOx by injecting urea (AdBlue® additive). B71 2312 standard covers PSA specification for all gasoline and some diesel engines with DPF. The exclusive technology of reduced content of sulfated ash, phosphorus and sulfur protects and extends the longevity of exhaust gas after-treatment systems, such as SCR systems and DPF. 100% synthetic base ensures high thermal and oxidative stability and resistance to high temperatures. It prevents sludge and lacquer formation. It keeps the engine clean. It reduces a tendency of piston ring coking. It ensures the maximum protection and lubrication in the most severe conditions. Low evaporation reduces oil burnout consumption. Excellent thermal and oxidative stability enables to extend the change intervals according to PSA requirements. It fully meets the stringent requirements to oil properties and longevity which is confirmed by the respective tests. Compared to other standards, e.g., PSA B71 2290, the new B71 2312 standard requires excellent thermal and oxidative stability and compatibility of the oil with exhaust gas after-treatment systems. B71 2312 standard assumes good low-temperature properties reducing hydrodynamic friction to save fuel. This low-temperature viscosity requirement is intended for easy engine start, rapid pressure increase, achievement of operating temperature and speeds.
